RAID Scrubbing - how to? And btrfs always instead of ext4?

Hello,

according to a last year’s discussion: https://community.zimaspace.com/t/discussion-zimaos-vs-synology-dsm/5896 as well as general internet search results seem to describe, it seems RAID scrubbing is not available in ZimaOS. At least not as WebUI function.

Is there a possibility to do that on CLI level? Anyone doing that already and can share details and experiences?

Or are essential features missing in ZimaOS, so that it’s not just a matter of exposing the function to the WebUI, but it is simply not possible at all at the moment? If the latter, are there any plans to add RAID scrubbing capability to ZimaOS?

And as a small side question: I noticed ZimaOS formats disks by default with btrfs. Is this the absolute best recommendation to go forward when using - like in my case - a Zimaboard2 + ZimaOS? Would there be any advantage of using ext4 over btrfs for example (letting aside performance aspects) in particular when it’s about unlucky situations of a failing disk for example so that the user find themselves in a recovery situation on a ZimaOS-based system?

Thanks for clarification, answers, insights!
