[Explained]apt: command not found(Original title: Sudo commands not working)

Totally new to ZimaOS and loving it the past few days. I am also a newbie in networking & Linux. On root cli and ttybridge I wanted to update and add some packages but every time I start to type on the cli root account or ttybridge it says “sudo: apt: command not found” or any command that I type. Sorry being a noob but any help is appreciated. TIA…

ZimaOS is designed as an appliance OS. It doesn’t support user updating/adding packages.

Cheers.

thank you for the information. I am trying to love the zimaOS but as I go into the apps and set it up I am a dum dum on them. I really wanted to setup Jellyfin(tried it but some videos are playing and some are not, they are all playing if I go direct to file app and play it from there), wanted to setup pxe and I do not know how to set it up.

hi,Don’t lose heart, let’s see if this can help you?

Will it ever support it in the near future?

Hi, with Jellyfin it’s important to get your paths and directories right. Have a look at this YouTube video as it is explained very well with a step by step guide and has links for a docker-compose.yml used in the video too. It was a huge help for me!

Deploy ARR stack with qBittorrent and Jellyfin using just 1 command!
