We have purchased dozens of Zimaboard’s for a client about a year ago. We had encountered an issue along the way that, seemingly randomly, the devices EFI\BIOS boot order would change during reboot and the device will fail to boot citing No bootable disk can be found.
Changing the boot order in BIOS back to a ‘debian’ or ‘CasaOS’ setting will allow it to boot again without issue. We also found that setting the boot order to ‘first’ then power cycling seems to a be a method to avoid going into the BIOS every time this happens.
Our team has tried quite a number of fixes, different power supplies (POE vs DC), Wipe\Reinstall of OS, attempting to script it away by using EUFI BIOS application in the OS itself.. nothing seems to really help.
If anyone has a solution for this, I owe you many beers.
Thanks
