Zimaos v1.5, builtin backup, deleted files remain in target folder

with builtin backup, deleted files in source folder remain in target folder, even empty trash. is this backup set with 1 way sync only?

Hi, from your description, it seems that it is a sync function, not a backup.
For example, deleting the original deleted files is not safe from a backup perspective.
My question is, can you tell me whether the files you are trying to “backup here” are “work”, “study”, or “life” files?
We are considering whether to make an app/mode specifically for sync(not backup).

Planning to propose zimaos to few of my customer to replace their aging nas device, testing the backup function. My suggestion is open the backup setting, let the user decide whether to backup or sync the folder.

I don’t really agree that this is sync. If I delete a file in my source destination I don’t want it kept in the backup location otherwise my backup location would keep getting bigger and bigger filled files I no longer want. For me this is not a usable solution. Maybe it is considered one way sync but for me that’s what I need and I think most people wouldn’t want that too.
