I have upgraded from ZimaOS v1.4.4 beta to ZimaOS v1.4.4. However after upgrade it takes really long time for app installation. It stays “Installing…” for nearly 30min for each app. I have 100Mbps fiber line, so no issue with internet connectivity. so far following apps faced the issue.

What country are you in? ISP used? Using a wired connection to Ethernet or Wi-Fi? Is there a VPN or other network firewall? Are there other administrators to manage the network?
Did you change your network or notice any changes before or after installing the current version?
Have you made it work successfully at the end?

Here are my answers to your query
- What country are you in? Sri Lanka
- ISP used? Sri Lanka Telecom
- Using a wired connection to Ethernet or Wi-Fi? Wired (Ethernet)
- Is there a VPN or other network firewall? No VPN but Adguard Home is running
- Are there other administrators to manage the network? No
- Did you change your network or notice any changes before or after installing the current version? On 1.4.4 beta I set Quad9 DNS since Adguard Home blocks network traffic to server. It worked fine with beta version.
- Have you made it work successfully at the end? App installation is very slow. But after 20-30 min it will install successfully

Thanks for the detailed feedback. I think DNS is a big issue here. Try disabling any DNS-related apps and using DNS servers like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. Looking forward to your feedback.

Thanks for the clarification.
I also had my doubts about the situation you clarified.
So, I switched to google dns (8.8.8.8) and disabled all apps related to DNS.
Following apps disabled;
But still app installation takes really long time.
As you can see installation going on with KB/s speed even with 100Mbps fiber connection.
Sincerely hope future update will fix this issue.
Here are some additional info. I was running myspeed in the same server with all DNS related apps and configurations enabled (Quad9 DNS, Adguard Home, Nginx). Following is the speed check history.
May I know if you perform a ‘docker pull’ on another system, what speeds do you achieve? This is to locate the possible cause.
For the moment, I am doing “docker pull” on zimaboard only. I will try to do it in another machine connected to same network and let you know the results.

Update:
Hi,
I changed dns to 1.1.1.1 then restarted the server after updating to v 1.4.4.4-1. Now apps are installing without an issue. I think problem is fixed.
