I’ve been using Zimaos on my homelab server for the last 6 months without any problems. Recently I’ve needed to expand my storage. I have a raid 5 set up with three 12tb HDD’s. I wanted to add 1 more 12tb drive to the raid. After updating to the newest version v1.41 It recognized the new drive I had plugged in and I started to expand the raid. It gave me the percentage and estimated time. After about 40 hours I watch it hit 100%. Then It stayed there for a while and I went to get dinner. When I came back it still said expanding raid but now showed 0% (0mins left). However it shows the new expanded capacity as being available. At least when viewing from the settings dashboard. However when going into my files it still shows the old capacity of 24tb and not the new 36tb.
I’m not sure what to do at this point, because its not like I can try to expand the raid again, because its acting like its still expanding, but isn’t making any progress. Everything is still working proprely its just like I never added that drive. I’ve restarted the system once and it had no effect on anything. Has anybody run into this problem before? What should I do next?
