To start, this is not the end of the world. I had a drive failure, shutdown, replaced the drive, restarted and added the new drive to the raid at the command line using mdadm. The rebuild is proceeding normally.
I’m using ZimaOS 1.5 in both cases describe here.
However, in the past when I had a failure, and the ZimaOS interface showed my storage rebuilding and available, with a % indicator and an ETA. This time, it is still telling me I have a degraded raid with a drive unavailable, even though the rebuild is ongoing. I have tried looking for a refresh function, restarted zimaos at the command line, but I can’t get it to recognize current events. Any suggestions?
OK the mdadm rebuild completed, my raid is intact, yet Zima is still indicating that I have a new drive to add and that my raid is failing. I am still in read-only mode, this is becoming a problem. Suggestions?
