I tested ZimaOS a few months ago but the storage controller was not detected. See here
The controller card is IBM Lenovo M1210 4-Port 12Gb/s SAS/SATA RAID Controller
Can any let me know if this controller is now supported or will I have to install this new version to determine it for myself?

Should be fine being an LSI SAS3004/3008, maybe need to check its flashed to IT mode.
Hardware RAID vs. Software RAID: In its default “IR” (Integrated RAID) mode, the M1210 presents a single logical volume (the virtual disk) to the OS, hiding the individual physical drives. ZimaOS cannot manage or expand a hardware RAID array created by the controller’s firmware, nor can it apply its own redundancy protocols to it.
Drive Visibility: Community reports regarding ZimaOS and similar LSI-based controllers (like the Dell H710P or LSI 9207) indicate that the OS often fails to detect drives behind a hardware RAID controller entirely unless the controller is in passthrough (IT) mode.
Official Precedent: Documentation for high-capacity ZimaOS builds explicitly recommends flashing the IBM M1210 (LSI 9300-4i OEM) to IT Mode to avoid “RAID controller logic overhead” and ensure the system recognizes the attached SAS/SATA drives directly.
you can flash the card yourself or buy cards on ebay already flashed to IT mode. just add IT mode to your search.
