I have not received anything. Does it say it’s available or is it just info on what’s next? Can you share some more details or is it for your eyes only ![]()

How do we upgrade from the dashboard? Os HexSen’s update script legit or a scam?
I had no update prompt from beta channel so updated manually. You can download .raucb file from github, put it ZimaOS-HD/.ota/offline refresh the dashboard and update will be available.
It does come with few interesting changes i have to say. I like it. But also noticed some high cpu usage. Nothing causing issue atm but much higher than on 1.6.2 and that’s at idle. For example jellyfin sits at 3.1% usage at idle, on 1.6.2 it was at 0.2%. Could be just how the metrics are displayed or there is a glitch as the cpu temp seems stable and at the same level as on 1.6.2…Will keep playing with it and testing.
There is one new setting which i cannot figure out: Home preference: Standard or Performance. Changing that does not seem to make any difference? Anyone noticed anything ?
I think they’re in no hurry to install 1.7 now. ![]()
active windows do not fit on the screen
I’m hoping this will be fixed in the second beta, perhaps with the “Home screen settings: Standard or Performance” buttons. But for now, changing this setting doesn’t really change anything.
file sharing via link maybe? Its about time…?
Thanks for your feedback. We will fix the window display issue in the next version
Home screen settings: Standard or Performance are used to speed up web visits.
The temperature on the dashboard is the CPU temperature, not the hard drive temperature
Small aesthetic problems also in the French version: several labels are cut in the buttons.
The fonts in the new Deployment Console are really small now.
Having links to share files would be a plus as indicated above.
Big problem adjusting the memory as indicated on another station (a new update is urgent).
The list of current applications is interesting.
Thank you for your feedback. Could you please provide a screenshot of your UI?
Is 1.7 still in Beta or is it actually live?
@djmiek It is being tested
Thank you for such a clear screenshot. We will fix it as soon as possible.
It’s just an aesthetic detail. But it’s nicer when the bubbles aren’t cut. The lettering is smaller and in bold in the bubbles, therefore less pretty than in 1.6.
We fully understand, thank you for your feedback.
