I recently got my ZimaCube Pro, I’m using Unraid and currently transferring all my data from another server.
I’ve been transferring data over the network but considering how Unraid works it’s very slow for the amount of data I’m transferring (30TB remaining).
Since both Unraid servers have multiple drives and the data I’m the origin drive is split between the drives I decided to test a possible solution to speed up things.
I am copying from individual disk to disk over the network, this way I ensure I’m grabbing files from different disks and copying to different disks.
It worked! I am at least transferring at 3.5-4Gbps.
The problem is, after 1 hour my 3 drives in question just stopped being recognized. I’ve tried it twice and the same thing happens.
Even if I remove the drives and plug them back in they won’t be recognized until I restart the zimacube.
I’ve already reached out to support but I’m a bit concerned about this. I’m also worried that possibly when I add the parity drive and build parity it will happen again (since all drives have a lot of activity at the same time).
I couldn’t find this specific issue in other threads but I think I saw related things.
Any ideas?
