ZimaCube Network Loss when initiating ZeroTier

I was out at a coffee shop and thought I’d try ZeroTier on my iPhone. (But I realized that was useless, since I didn’t know what the IP address was. I’ve gotten ZeroTier to work before while away from my local network, but only when I pre-check what the LAN IP address is on the ZimaCube and remember it. If there’d be a way to lock down the LAN IP address, this would make ZeroTier much easier to use. But that’s a separate issue from today’s topic…)

When I got home, lo and behold: my wired ZimaCube had completely disconnected from the network. The only way to get it back online was to forcibly turn it off and then back on.

This is essentially the same issue I reported in my old thread:

IceWhale kindly replaced my ZimaCube and that solved the frequent disconnection issues.

But since it disconnected today when trying to use ZeroTier for the first time, I’m suspecting ZeroTier access is the cause of the disconnection issues. That’s the correlation I began to make in the quote above: when I turned on the PC which had ZeroTier active, the Cube disconnected.

Thank you for your feedback, we are actively investigating!
