Using tailscail or wireguard seems like a bandaid when the os has that functionality built in.

May I know what specific function you are using remotely?
Sure, I’m connecting to the server through a VPN tunnel just like zima client allows you to do to use specific apps that are on the server and transfer files.
The same exact functions zima client can do theoretically unless I am mistaken. I’ve never used zima client because I don’t use windows or Mac PCs. So the functionality might not be what I’m making it out to be in my mind.
I’m using an Android phone and Linux desktop(s) using the aft for mentioned tailscale and wireguard. I would like to move to a more native solution that comes with the operating system.
I’m really sorry. Our team has seen a lot of similar mobile app requests. However, due to limited human resources, we will definitely improve this requirement in the future. But now you can use zerotier instead of tailscale. Our client integrates zerotier’s app. You understand it correctly. After you download it, you can of course perform operations such as transferring files. We also look forward to your feedback.
