Zimaboard with nvidia quadro

I am wondering if I can use the zimaboard with an nvidia quadro and which model could I use If I don’t want to use external power (that means a gpu powered only by the pcie of the zimaboard). Anyone sucessfully did this?

Regarding the use of Nvidia Quadro graphics cards, we recommend that in order to ensure system stability, it is best to use an external power supply for power. This will avoid instability problems caused by the graphics card consuming more power than the ZimaBoard PCIe slot can provide. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Thanks for your comment. The problem is that many low powered Quadro cards can’t be powered with an external source (such as P400 or the T400 which are 30W).

Theoretically, as far as I recall, the Zimaboard power adapter can power up to 36 watts, which means it “might handle” a 30 W gpu. But I don’t see anywhere where it says up to how much power the PCIe in the zimaboard can deliver to a pcie host (I guess it will depend on how much power is beeing sucked by usb/sata devices as well as the main CPU ).

I would love a future Zimaboard that could power without any issue such “low wattage” card (30/40 W range).
