Zimaboard now stops booting at masks after a cold start

Bought our Zimaboard last year and installed pfSense. It worked great and was never powered off until this week when I updated to pfSense 2.7.2 and it would not boot up. I connected a monitor and keyboard. If I cold boot into BIOS, I can boot from there and warm boot multiple times with no problem. But if I cold (power off) reboot without going to BIOS I see the dimensions and stride of the HDMI monitor and then the line:

masks 0x00ff0000, 0x0000ff00, 0x000000ff, 0xff000000

No keyboard input is accepted after this failure. It has to have the power removed, restored and go into BIOS and boot from any of the choices from there to begin. This board is normally deployed in a building we have little access to so to have it boot without problems is necessary. It’s on a UPS so this may have been a problem we didn’t know about before I updated to pfSense 2.7.2, we just didn’t know about it.

Thanks for the feedback, we will organize a test. Generally, this phenomenon is related to kernel updates. Perhaps you can try to confirm whether the boot item settings have been modified in the BIOS?
