I noticed that Zima client on my Mac uses a lot of CPU. Further examination shows that
- The two sync folders do not show up in the menu
- The zima-client-backup process reads from the local SSD with 6GB/s and keeps doing this for hours.
- It takes a lot of CPU and drains the battery fast, even when the system is sleeping
This is totally unacceptable for me. Not only is it draining the system, but if I let it continue the SSD will be dead in no time. I don’t understand why it is reading from the local SSD at all - no files in the sync folder have changed.
The target system is a ZimaCube, the client runs on a MacBook Pro. The sync folder is 246 GB and has been synced by the client before.
