Why is a system dedicated exclusively to Docker a few years behind schedule?
The docker engine upgraded to version 29.7.2 on 2026-08-05.
ZimaOS is currently in version 27.5.1 released on 2025-01-22.
The ZimaOS docker engine was in version 28.3.2 at the beginning of July. Why was the version downgraded?
For comparison, Ugreen is version 29.4.3 and Asustor is version 28.1.1.
It seems to me that a recent version of the Docker engine guarantees security, compatibility and access to new features.
