Hello I recently purchased a zimaboard2 and i fell in love with ZimaOS as a Linux newbie it is very easy to get into. I installed Hermes on my Zimaboard2 but since i wanted to host my own LLM the Zimaboard was not going to be enough, so i installed ZimaOS on my Ryzen Mini PC but i cannot find the Hermes agent on the app store at all. Is Hermes only available on Zima 1st party products?? If so it is very disappointing.

I was able to find it in the app store on my Zimaboard but i cannot find it on my MiniPC where i loaded ZimaOS
Figured i would add that i can find it on my zimaboard

No it is a newish PC i bought a bit ago to start tinkering with LLMs i was able to get gemma4 up and running with no issues. I believe the CPU came out in mid 2024ish
Yeah, that’s odd. Your mini pc is way newer than mine. Not sure why it’s not appearing in the app store. What version of Zima OS are you using?

I am on v1.6.1 on both machines, but i just realized my zimaboard has ZimaPlus and my MiniPC doesnt. Do you have ZimaPlus on your PC?
Like you, I’m running Zima OS on 2 machines, and normally, one with plus one without.
However, I recently reset my Zima OS Plus machine (Lenovo Tower) and I no longer have plus on either, atm.
I show Hermes on both of my instances.
I have 164 default apps in the app store. 398 after adding Big Bear repository.
I see you have only 160.
I don’t know why they are different, though.
@gelbuilding @Burndaddy Ahh okay i did not know you could add more repositories. I do see i only have Big Bear on both of them ill so im not sure why i have different one maybe just need to delete and re-add. Thank you both for the awesome help!

For me, Hermes was one of the default apps already in the app store, without adding any repositories.
Not sure why yours is different. Perhaps there are regional differences?
@Burndaddy @gelbuilding So after working on adding more repositories i still have no luck what so ever. I even deleted the repositories on my zimaboard and i am still able to find Hermes it it very strange that hermes will just not show up on my MiniPC
It shouldn’t have anything to do with regions as i have Hermes on one of my computers but not on my other one.
My only other thought is that maybe you can add Hermes manually using Docker Compose, but I am the last person who could advise you on that. Sorry. (still fairly new to Zima OS)
Yeah i am completely unsure of how to do that either as i am very new to using linux in general and that is why i chose ZimaOS. Its a very strange situation thought as to why it works on one PC and not on the other
