Trouble reinstalling zimaos

I’m having a challenge with reinstalling the zimaos onto my zimaboard 2.

I have successfully installed the casaos on the zimaboard 2; but using the provided instructions and the same usb stick that I used to install the casaos, when I go into the boot menu the usb stick with the zimaos is not listed.

With the casaos installed, my zimaboard 2 is not joining my network. I’m hoping that if I can reinstall the zimaos, it will automatically join my home network.

If the ZimaOS USB isn’t showing at boot, I believe the image wasn’t written correctly.

Download a fresh ZimaOS image

Flash the USB using balenaEtcher only

If it still doesn’t show:
• Try another USB stick
• Try another USB port

If CasaOS isn’t joining the network, it may be a cable / DHCP / router issue, reinstalling won’t automatically fix that.

Thank you, I think I got it figured out. I was trying to use the .img file; but I should have been using the .iso file. Once I changed it over to .iso file, the whole process worked. I’ve got the Zimaboard 2, up and running with the zimaos. I’ve got my Jellyfin running and transcoding. I’m very happy.

Nice work, glad it’s sorted.
Yes, the .iso is the correct image for balenaEtcher, so that explains why the USB didn’t appear earlier.
Great to hear ZimaOS and Jellyfin are running and transcoding.
