I was really excited to see that I was going to be one of the first ones to flash the latest ZimaOS version after it came out yesterday but I have an issue. After I flashed it to my USB 2.0 drive, I followed the instructions on this page and installed the OS to the SSD drive on my HP EliteDesk G4 800. When it prompted me to remove the installer drive, I did so and booted up the system. However, I wasn’t greeted with the ZimaOS page where it would have my IP, but rather it flashes two slot selections, A and B just, for a second then it automatically goes into the one that is highlighted.
Slot A basically does nothing. I just get a blinking underscore.
Slot B gives an error: unknown filesystem.
Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong please? Thank you.
Hi. Thank you for your response. After a lot of tinkering I realized that the issue is probably because I had both UEFI boot mode and Secure Boot disabled. Once I changed that, the system did boot. It seems that you have mentioned this here [Preformatted text](https://github.com/IceWhaleTech/ZimaOS) but not in your main tutorials. I recommend that you update them.
Also, just so you know, the latest version of Balena Etcher didn’t want to load the image for me. Some Balena Etcher users recommended using an older version of the tool which did the trick in the end.
Other than than that, I’m super happy with the OS. You’ve done a great job with it ! Thanks for all your hard work and good luck with growing your business !
