Suggestion Regarding VPN Requirement in iOS App - Tailscale Net

Hello, I am currently using Tailscale VPN with my ZimaOS setup, which allows me to access my NAS reliably via its local Tailscale IP address through my Tailscale network. Because of this, I do not require a separate Remote ID or additional VPN configuration.

However, when I enter the Tailscale IP address in your iOS app, I am able to connect successfully, but the app repeatedly prompts or attempts to configure a VPN connection. In my case, this behavior is unnecessary since Tailscale already provides secure network access.

Would it be possible to adjust the app’s behavior so that it does not enforce or suggest VPN configuration when a direct connection via a private network (such as Tailscale) is already in use?

I agree, personally I haven’t even been using the app or Zima remote access and prefer to just access the dashboard using a browser app and the ip address on all my devices. I’ve had issues with remote ID deciding to not even connect without restarting it by switching remote access off and on again in the ZimaOS settings quite often as well.
