Hello as a newbie myself on all of this networking and nas systems, I would like to help new people that the zima team can probably implement into the os since is some basic stuff.
I appreciate all the thing you guys have done it made me stay with the zimacube and the os itself solid solid.
- when installing an app if the ports are used by other app already or by the os itself would be nice for zimaos to recommend or give a different host or port option to choose. that way people wont be stuck on chatgpt or checking everywhere on what to put in cases like that.
2- some videos step by step that are not super fast explaining how to do things in the zimaos and apps in the containers.
3- a 1 click button thing when installing apps but you dont want them in the main os but maybe you want to have the app data in another disk, then something that ask where you want to install your app

- We don’t change the port because we want the user to know clearly that he has changed the port, which is different from the default one provided by the installation file.
We will keep talking about whether it is necessary to let the user know that. Or we can change it and make the user ignore it.

We do make videos if we think it is necessary to make a step-by-step guide. You can find most of them in our YouTube channel.

We have a migration function by which you can modify the default installation location of all the Apps.
We will talk about whether it is necessary to let the user to choose the location for every App.

appreciate it. as someone new we dont care if the port is change to make the app works just put like a pop op saying the port is changing or something to make it work.
and on the location to install app something like to choose default location that way we dont have to do it manually each time. god bless
