System Time in BIOS is wrong, it will reset to the wrong time everytime I change it to the correct time. It make set up Eske on RTC very difficult. Screen shot attached.
[Solved] I’m using truenas/linux, and I notice it is always 7 hours ahead of my local time. I then realized I’m at UTC-7 time zone, and when truenas/linux connected to the NTP it continuously calibrate the time and periodically writes the UTC time back to the BIOS clock. that’s why only the hours is “wrong” but the date, minute, and second is correct.
As for setting the Wake on RTC, just remember to use UTC time instead of your local time.
Anyway, hope this help if anyone going mad trying to set the bios system time.
