let me see if I can help here.

  1. Assign the Zimacube a static IP [Tutorial]How to set a static IP address for your example I would use 192.168.8.177
  2. Assign your Macbook a static IP: 192.168.8.178 (which you have shown here)

Then you would use finder to connect to \192.168.8.177\ which would be your zimacube using SMB

right now it sounds like you are trying to connect back to your mac
