Before deciding to buy the new ZimaBoard, i’m trying to understand ZimaOS. I’ve install it on a server but don’t undersatnd how to have the access outside the local network.
The is no Client for Linux (and I’m not sure to install a client which could be a paying option one day) and I din’t find a documentation for installing a usual remote access.
Any advice or link ?
Thanks
Many ways u can do to access from outside network.
- vpn via tailscale, wireguard, zerotier
- nginx proxy manager & duckdns
- buy cloudflare domain and build zerotrust tunnel.
ZimaOS’s remote access is based on Zerotier. So all you need to do is install Zerotier on your Linux system and join the network using the remote network id provided by ZimaOS.
Next, you just need to access ZimaOS as if you were a LAN device.

Thanks, This is a excellent solution. A mention, or better a tuto, on the documentation would be great !
