Recover data from RAID 5 array in case of Zima controller failure

I’m very interested in the ZimaOS RAID functionality that provides data redundancy and performance enhancements I need.
However I’m wondering how can I recover data from my RAID 5 array if the Zima controller fails (and imagine in some time the same Zima controller is no more available). My data will be lost or I will be able to recover them also from another controller or OS?

You can try shutting down the ZimaCube and pulling out a hard drive to simulate a hard drive being damaged.
You will see system will guide you to insert a new disk to rebuild the array, but do not actually do it.
After shutting down again and inserting the original hard disk, the array will return to normal. @emaoca

To be precise yes, you can update to another operating system for data recovery if there is a problem with Zima. You can contact our side to assist you in recovering your data, or of course you can recover it on your own if you are more familiar with Linux. It must be emphasized that your data will not be lost if the disk is not formatted and the hard disk is not damaged.
