I tried to install Promox on my Zima board and got a mount point error. I have only booted up the zimaboard so it’s a clean install apart from the OS. I disabled zima os but I can’t seem to get it back to sort out the mount point to install Promox, does any have any tips?

Proxmox can’t be installed natively in eMMC flash storage due to subpar data writing lifespan. There are a few workarounds that you could do but I’d highly advise against it as you’ll end up bricking your native storage when your eMMC wears out.
I’ve used this guide Installing Proxmox on eMMC Devices — Marcio F. Fontenelle and it worked, however, I decided to fallback to a couple of SSDs drives in RAID1 to avoid any future surprises.

For my understanding, is the issue that the zimaboard has eMMC flash storage and that’s what’s causing the error and to implmenent a workaround will just damage the storage on the zima in the long run?
