“Power Management Configuration” does not exist in BIOS

Hello Community,

i recently bought a Zimaboard 2 and I would like to activate the Wake-On-Lan functionality. According to this docs page I should go to the Power Management Configuration in the Advanced Tab of the BIOS. Unfortunately the entry “Power Management Configuration” just does not exist.

This is my BIOS information:

  • BIOS Vendor: American Megatrends
  • Core Version: 5.27
  • Compliancy: UEFI 2.8; PI 1.7
  • BIOS Version: Intel ADL-N Series
  • Build Date and Time: 07/22/2025 16:38:40
  • System manufacturer: IceWhale Technology Co.,Ltd.
  • Product Name: ZimaBoard2
  • SerialNumber: Default string
  • Access Level: Administrator

Does anyone have an idea on how to proceed? Any help is welcome!

Thanks in advance,
Jeff.

Hi Jeff,

For your BIOS, the Wake-on-LAN setting is located here instead:

Step 1,
Advanced → ACPI Settings → ACPI Sleep State
and set it to S3 (Suspend to RAM) if you want wake from sleep-related states.

Step 2,

Chipset → PCH-IO Configuration → PMC Configuration → Wake on LAN Enable

From your screenshot, this option is already visible there, and you can set it to Enabled.

After that, press F10 to save and exit.

Dear 777-Spider,

thank you very much for the reply and especially for the effort of giving so clear advises using screenshots. I appreciate it a lot and it helped me to solve the issue. WoL works perfectly now.

Again thanks a lot!

Jeff.
