Plus license changed to Community Edition after adding RAM to ZimaOS VM

Hi,
I had succesfully updated my ZimaOS from v1.4 to v1.5.
Recently I updated to 1.5.1. No problems.

My ZimaOS VM had 12GB back then. I wanted to upgrade it to 24GB in Proxmox.
After rebooting the VM, the Plus license changed to Community Edition.

Any reasons why this should happen?
Thanks.

I would wait awhile, sometimes the server takes a bit to update the version.

Okay, thank you for your feedback. I would like to confirm the following information.

You mean RAM, not storage, right? (Please confirm that the system disk storage has not been changed.)
Would you mind sharing the specific steps you took to adjust the memory? We want to reproduce this problem.

Looking forward to your reply.

My bad, thank you, should’ve mentioned it. I did expand the storage too.

The workaround I can think of is to go back to the previous version, then upgrade again to get Plus benefits.

Also, you are welcome to buy us cups of coffee~(I mean get the Plus, haha.) Cheers.

I have a snapshot of the VM that i can go back to. It has all my config and apps, with zimaos v1.5, plus enabled.

Is there a way for me to expand the storage now, and still keep the Plus ?

This is still a test environment but I put a lot of work in it so I would like to make sure it fits my needs and flexibility. Paying for a Plus license will be the first thing to consider when everything works

Maybe you can restore your snapshot, and then switch to the last version, and then expand the storage space. After that, do the upgrade. Is this possible for you?

I will have to.
Im not sure though, how its going to downgrade the version when i select another boot partition.
My ZimaOS does work well and does not have any issues booting. How is it going to go back to the previous version if i select another boot partition. Appreciate the explanation
Have a good day!

Another slot should be the last version you upgraded from.

We are talking about the status in snapshot: you have upgraded only once to ZimaOS 1.5.0, the status in snapshot, and never upgraded afterward, right? If so, then you switch, you go back.

It worked. Thanks for the tip. I’m on v1.5 with Plus, with a notification showing 1.5.1 is available. I will update to that another time. Have a good day!
