Hi, I havent used my zimaboard for best part of a year, went to switch it on again the other day but nothing is happening and also not getting any res power light - tested the power supply and thats all good. So im guessing its the motherboard fault?
Is there anything that can be done, repaired or buy replacement boards or is it simply time for the bin?
Do you get a light when you plug it in? I had a similar issue, no video no internet access and when I plugged it there was a red light that lasted less than 1 second. I could not do anything (there was no video output). I unpluggged /plugged the battery on the bottom of the zima and it worked again.
I can reproduce the error If I put the zima on hibernation (ubuntu) and remove the power while in hibernation. Hopefully a future zimaboard includes a reset/power button that can facilitate doing this.
Maybe you can re-insert the rtc battery， on the back
