I connect the memory card to this reader and it’s not recognized. Using a USB adapter works perfectly. I believe it’s a driver issue, as the reader works on other operating systems. Does anyone have a solution?
Is this a USB card reader?
It’s the card reader for the Samsung NP550XCJ.
Okay, I’m going to add some drivers for this IC, and I’ll need your help to test it.
I am available, I await your response.
We’ve added the corresponding drivers to the beta version that just released and you can test it out.
It didn’t work on ZimaOS v1.5.3-beta1.
Okay, I’ll check if the driver was actually added to the update.
I have checked that the driver has been successfully installed on the system, and I may not have found the correct driver.
Please let me know when the driver is added.
You try to upgrade to the latest 1.5.3 version, depending on the IC model, I have added the relevant drivers, if possible, you can provide a more detailed reader hardware information.
It also didn’t work in version 1.5.3, when running lsusb I get the following return:
Zima@ZimaOS:~ ➜ $lsusb
