zima os jellyfin works fine with windows BUT in a smart tv it can’t find anything but the main install drive
I have main zima os installed on nvme drive and my nas storage is on /Safe-Storage/Mymedia
In windows jellfin client can get to the proper drive when I connect and display the media on the main nas setup.
On smart tv all it can find is the main drive and of course there is a media folder there.
If I use the same string to say go find the files on the nas it just does nothing.
I don’t understand why my computer can get to /Safe-Storage/Mymedia but the tv can not.
They are all connected the same on the network.
Router 192.168.2.1
ip mapping is from 2 to 224
computer 192.168.2.32
tv 192.168.2.175
nas 192.168.2.78
tried this first on computer and it didn’t work
http:// 192.168.2.78/ZIMAOS/Safe-Storage/Mymedia with both :8096 and :8097 __spaces add in all of them to allow posting. unsure of correct way to post it here.
later found this posted by someone and it worked on the computer jellfin client
http:// 192.168.2.78:8097/web/#/video
I don’t understand this I can only guess its the 8097 since in the nas it says 8096
have no idea about {web or # or video} are these wild cards for something?
I have tried so many variations of this on my tv I have given up.
