Jellyfin(NVIDIA GPU) in ZimaOS app store is outdated

When will there be an update for the “Jellyfin(NVIDIA GPU)” docker from the ZimaOS app store?
It has been outdated for a while and since today there isn’t even any more connections possible to it through Jellyfin Android apps.
It has completely stopped working on my TV for example where in a warning message they recommend using “v10.10.3 or newer”

I have reached out to Icewhale about the same issue with Plex and Plex (Nvidia GPU).

There are a few apps (maybe a lot, I haven’t checked them all) in the official store that are not updated.

When an update to the OS is released, the apps should at least be updated then.

Update now! We will pay attention to this issue when releasing new versions in the future! Thank you so much!

Anche a me stesso problema ! prego risolvere quanto prima se a dicembre 2024 era vecchia ora è diventata antica

grazie

I have the same problem too! Please resolve it as soon as possible if it was old in December 2024 now it has become obsolete

thanks

edit the image name to linuxserver/jellyfin:latest and it will install latest versions from now on.

the nvidia settings you need are already entered in the settings to contain the needed configuration for nvidia gpus. you can also go to the app store and use the custom install option for nvidia gpu and change the image to linuxserver/jellyfin:latest for a first time install.

the only difference between jellyfin and jellyfin nvidia gpu is the enviromental variables and devices sections are set up for nvidia gpus as below. and since you already have the nvidia version installed with these added you just need to change the image name to instruct it to download the latest version which is now 12.1. any new version will appear as an update in the app store.

L’ho fatto ma ho avuto tanti problemi e sono dovuto tornare indietro , non c’è possibilità che l’aggiornino direttamente da zima ?

I tried it, but I ran into a lot of problems and had to revert; is there any chance they could update it directly from Zima?

What problems did you have?

But yeah maybe zima will get around to it eventually.. although it is just a case of them using jellyfins docker images with some environmental variables and device ID’s to enable and let the image find and use the nvidia gpu.

The zima updates to how docker images are handled also doesn’t setup the amount of cpu’s used as clearly as before since it has changed the number of cpu’s to percentage of cpu.

So having 4 cores would be 400% for example. I found since version 1.71 I had to manually change it from 100% as 1 core or 100% was making things slow, especially scanning libraries or loading in images while browsing.
