Jellyfin libraries do not recognize files copied to media folders using the ZimaOS Files app.
I have ZimaOS on a Generic NAS with a Raid 5 setup.
I’d been pulling my hair out trying to find out why the Jellyfin library, where I set up the Media folder on the the NAS drive, would show no media in the library after copying my media there using the ZimaOS Files app.
I wasted so much time down the mounted volume rabbit hole, when one night I copied some new media to the NAS, via a remote Windows file manager copy, and that file showed up in the Jellyfin library.
I experimented with some additional file copies from the remote Windows box and again from ZimaOS Files and each time, files copied from Windows showed up in the library where files copied via ZimaOS Files did not.
Have there been other reports of this?
