Issues with Scrutiny and ZimasOS (1.5)

Hi, after installing Scrutiny for the first time, I see an overview of the connected hard disks (USB 3.0) at the Scutiny Dashboard. However, after I connect additional drives (also USB3, same controller type), they don’t appear on the dashboard. Even if I disconnect the drive that was recognized, there is no update to the Scrutiny dashboard. I have restarted ZimaOS several times and even uninstalled Scrutiny (fully deleting the /AddData/Scrutiny folder manually after uninstalling), but the dashboard still shows the overview from the first time. That being said, I have two questions:

  1. Where does Scrutiny store the initial dashboard?
  2. How can I trigger Scrutiny to refresh the dashboard?

This is driving me nuts.

Thanks,
Angy

Meanwhile I have found, I need to pass the device type

devices:

  • device: /dev/sdb
    type: sat

But how do I do it in ZimaOS? There‘s no option in settings to do so?

If you’re referring to where the data is stored, the applications are in the “app” folder on the main drive where you installed the system. If you delete the application folder (uninstall the application first, then delete it), it will be back to square one, as if you had never installed it.
