Intel Arc A310 in ZimaCube

Hey, I’m just testing my ZimaCube with an Arc A310 and it doesn’t seem to recognize the card. Does it support Intel Arc cards? It boots fine and the GPU fan is on but it doesn’t list the card in the OS, only the integrated graphics.

The card is listed here as supported GPU Expansion | Zimaspace Docs

Thanks

OK, would you please post your screenshot of your ZimaOS dashboard?

especially the down left corner widget.

yes, it supports it at a driver level, you won’t see a widget for it

Thanks but I don’t see it at the driver level, also I updated to the latest Zima OS version (v1.3.3) but I still only see the integrated GPU:

root@ZimaCube:~# intel_gpu_top -L
card0 Intel Alderlake_n (Gen12) pci:vendor=8086,device=46D1,card=0
└─renderD128
root@ZimaCube:~# lspci -k | grep -i "VGA"
lspci: Unable to load libkmod resources: error -22
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Alder Lake-N [UHD Graphics]

I forgot to mention I have the regular ZimaCube, not the pro, so maybe this is the issue.

Hi i’m looking to set up a solution with ZimaOS and an Arc A310, have you had any new results or any comments on getting it working ?

Hey, yeah initially I was testing with the Sparkle Intel Arc A310 ELF, and maybe that uses too much power to work. Once I switched to the Sparkle Intel Arc A310 ECO, then it works.

OK thank you for the prompt reply.
My custom build with Ryzen and an Arc a310 should work fine then i presume since the only real issue seemed to be power delivery.

Hey again. I’ve made the setup, the command you only got the integrated card for shows my card.
Did you manage to get the widget to work as i don’t seem to be able to ?
