Hello, how to install two Arr apps? E.g., Radarr, every time I tried to install the second instance, it overwrote the first one. Even though, I changed the ports, appdata folder, and environment variables. What are the other things to do?
What is the reason for needing 2 installs of the same app? I can’t think of a situation I would ever need to but I’m curious all the same! As to your question, I don’t know myself but hopefully someone will know if it’s possible at all? Could you install the second instance using a VM?
I was using it for Radarr or Sonarr at 1080p and 4k resolutions. It needs two instances so it can automatically download at its own resolutions and move to the designated folders. It was working on Unraid, but I think the Zimaos is good alternative since I was looking for the alternative.
Ah yes, I understand now. Have you tried using the CLI to install the second instance? If you use it to navigate to the folder where you want it to install to and then run the install from there? Just an idea.
