I like to install, kicad as a doctor in the os I tried my best. I can’t do it. Is there any steps?

How to Install KiCad on ZimaOS

If you can’t find KiCad in the App Store, you first need to add the LinuxServer repository.

Step 1: Open the App Store

Open the App Store in ZimaOS.

Step 2: Add the Repository

  • In the top-right corner, click the drop-down menu next to the total number of apps (for example, 996 Apps).

  • Click More.

  • Select Add Repository.

Step 3: Paste the Repository URL

Copy the LinuxServer repository URL and paste it into the dialog.

Then click Add or OK.

Step 4: Wait for the Repository to Sync

Wait a minute or two while ZimaOS downloads and indexes the new repository.

Step 5: Search for KiCad

Go back to the App Store and search for KiCad.

Step 6: Install KiCad

Click Install and wait for the container to be created.

If KiCad doesn’t appear

  • Refresh the App Store.

  • Wait a few minutes for the repository to finish syncing.

  • If necessary, restart ZimaOS and search again.

After these steps, KiCad should be available in the App Store.
