A new 1.134.0 version of Immich is available, but it is not showing on Zima. How to update to latest version?
On your ZimaOS homepage, click on the 3 dots on the top right of the Immich icon and then click on “Settings”. There will be 4 tabs along the top of the pop up window. The middle 2 are “immich-machine-learning” and “immich-server”. In the “Tag” box, change these to v1.134.0, then click the “Save” button and it should update itself.
I hope that makes sense. I can’t post screenshots currently but it should be straightforward enough.
Hi @CogZog , thanks for reply.
I’ve changed the version number in Immich settings but after relaunching it is still shows old version v1.132.1
Try a reboot as that definitely worked for me?
Did you also change the immich-machine-learning tag and then click “Save”?
Yes, I’ve changed both.
Well I’m not sure why mine updated and yours didn’t then as I did exactly as I described unfortunately. Perhaps it needs the db and redis versions changing too? I’ll attach my screenshots but otherwise this is beyond my knowledge unfortunately.
It worked on my primary ZimaOS build but did not work on test build in VM finally.
Anyways, it works now. Thanks fo help!
I have another question about database. Should I change to stable?
Glad to hear you got it sorted.
As for the database, I’m of the opinion here that if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it? Updating Immich offers fixes or new/improved features whereas the database doesn’t change Immich itself per se so I tend to leave it alone unless absolutely necessary. Each to their own though.
