How can I update my Immich server to the latest version? I’m on ZimaOS 1.7.0 and my Immich version has been stuck on 2.6.1 for several months now. I have tried to update the version number directly on the Docker container but it does not update. When I change the version number in the Docker container manually, it seems to be downloading something (there is network traffic) and it says that Immich is being installed, but after restarting the container, it is still showing the old version number. How can it be updated? Thanks!
Go to Immich Server manage, and under server, chang the version to v3.1.0 and click save, it will update.
Yes, that is exactly what I did and that is also how I updated to version 2.6.1 months ago. However, now this method is not working anymore. After changing the version number in the server, it shows it is downloading Immich, but after restarting the container it still shows the old version and nothing has changed. Is there a different way?
Hmmm, what are you other versions, and what does it say in manage after you do that for the server? I think I did 3.1 before 1.7 but not positive.
