I bricked my casaos-overlay partition, is it possible to reinstall the default apps (App store, Files...)?

Hello,

In a dumb move on my part, I managed to fully corrupt my overlay partition (aka /dev/nvme1n1p7, aka /mnt/overlay, aka casaos_overlay) after trying to install a docker image/app that was too big for the remaining space on my main SSD.

I tried every common trick in the book to bring it back (fsck, mke2fs to try to get a new superblock…) nothing worked. In the end I was forced to wipe the partition clean and hope for the best.

Fortunately, I did not lose all my data and app configs, which were in /DATA and also a secondary SSD. However I am now on a ZimaOS interface without any apps, including the default ones such as Files, App Store, etc. For the custom apps, it’s not much of a problem as I know how to reinstall them even manually with docker-compose.yaml files, but for the ZimaOS default apps… can’t seem to find anything to install them myself.

So here’s my question: is there a way to restore these ? (through a documentation, a script or whatever else – I’m a dev, so I’m comfortable with even more tech-savvy solutions you might have)

Or should I just abandon ship, save my data/configs and reinstall ZimaOS from scratch ?

Thanks in advance for any help !
