Can the ZimaOS can operate a bare metal Hypervisor to create virtual host??

Not yet, but it’s already on the feature wishlist, and you are welcome to give your opinion to the ZimaOS Partners in DIscord. There, the iteration of the next version of the virtual machine was just decided.

ZimaOS is a full operating system built by IceWhale. you can create virtual machines within this however it operates (to my understanding) in a similar way to VMware workstation in that it is an os application hosting a VM.

ZVM seems to use KVM (from what i can tell) and as such is a Type1 Hypervisor - which i think is what you wanted :slight_smile:
