I was confused about ZimaOs. I installed it on my main pc, because it has a powerful cpu and I want to do a lot of things simultaneously. I was shocked when after installation, I wasn’t greeted with that beautiful dashboard. How can I run this Os on the same pc that it’s installed on. I don’t want to run it on a pc and then have to use it from another machine in a browser. I know that I could install a common Os or a hypervisor and then run ZimaOs in a virtual machine, but I don’t want Windows as the controlling backbone, and I can’t decide which hypervisor I want to learn to use. ZimaOs would be almost perfect if it had a web browser or a graphic interface built into it. What is the easiest way to do what I’d like?
zimaOS is designed to be headless. Get a cheap raspberry Pi or thin client and run a lightweight os. A pi or similar SBC can easily be mounted or zip tied to the back of a monitor and draw it’s power from a usb port on the monitor if it has one. The dashboard can be accessed in most browsers.

Yeah, if I can’t get it going with VirtualBox, I’ll probably just use a mini pc to access it.
