Has anyone gotten the nvme drives in the nvme sled to work in TrueNAS scale

I have gotten the drives to work in ubuntu 24.04 but have not gotten them to be visable in TrueNAS scale.

Is there a driver or naming convention that I should look into?

FWIW, the drives on the sled were found before the drive in the motherboard in Ubuntu. drives 0-3 were on the sled and drive 4 was on the motherboard.

I didn’t need any drivers, or do anything special to get them to work.

I did make sure the disks has all partitions removed before installing Truenas Scale. I’m using crucial p3 2tb disks.

I have contacted IceWHale about the issues. They are sending me a new NVME tray to see if that is the problem.

I have been in contact with two other people via Reddit and Discord who seem to have a similar problem with the NVME Trays.

I’ll keep you posted if the replacement tray fixes the issue.
