Hard Drive LED Issue

I have multiple ZimaOS+ licenses and have two prebuilt x86 NAS devices that the hard drive activity LEDs do not light up when the drives are reading/writing. Not a mission critical issue but it would be nice if these two machines could use the hard drive LEDs. One of these devices is an Orico CF56Pro NAS which has multiple hard drives as well as multiple M.2 nvme drives, which might also be part of the issue.

Has there been any previous discussion about this issue getting support to fix this?

If not, I’d like to request that these HD LEDs function issues be resolved in future versions of ZimaOS. I assume it is a driver issue?

yes its a supplemental software issue since they are not plain status leds brought out from the drive controller chip. But Orico would have to share a driver or source code to the Linux community so it could be compiled.
