Fresh Install 1.5 says it´s Plus but wont add more disk

I recently installed 1.6 on a MSI B360I Gaming Pro AC motherboard with a i3 8100.

The issue is that it come up as aPlus account, however it wont let me add more than 4 hdd.

I actually paid for a license but there is nowhere to add it since the OS seems it think it already is

I am booting from an old 64GB SanDisk SATA SSD.

Everything works, but i am stuck since i have a load of old 1tb i want to test the system out in a raid but if I add them they dont register.

If you mean setting up RAID for USB connected external hard drives, then this is a feature that has not yet been implemented. But the good news is that it has been included in our roadmap, and yes, in the future, ZimaOS will provide RAID support for USB connected hard drives.

If you are experiencing issues with RAID for internal hard drives such as SATA, please provide us with your connection method and a screen recording of the setup process so we can help you better locate and resolve the issue.

Looking forward to your reply.

In the near future, I will be receiving an NVME to SATA adapter for the additional drives; however, for testing, I plugged the drives in via a USB to SATA adapter.

It’s not that the OS won’t allow me to add them to the RAID, that’s understandable, it´s that it won’t let me access them

Hey, what is the FS/disk format of your drive?

You can find the compatible list here:

Suggestion 1: try to use the NVMe to SATA adapter to see if you can use it.
Suggestion 2: format the disk to a compatible FS to see if you can use it.

Look forward to your feedback.

My M2 NVME to 6 SATA adapter came. With this, I can now install more hard drives.

Problem solved
