Features request (zimaos backup, standby Zima nas, nfs in gui)

First i thank you guy at icewhale for this software. I am testing it alongside other NAS brands. I have some features request

1 - ZimaOS config backup and restore utility that can export and import config to another ZimaOS device. Would be nice if it can cover Docker Apps to.

2 - Gui integration for NFS (start, stop, export file handling).

3 - An rsync compatible backup facility to backup files from one zimaos nas to another. Making a proper standby device.

Again thanks for this software. It look promising and i look forward to purchase a registration key.

Thank you for trying ZimaOS.

May I ask where you learned about ZimaOS and started trying it out?

What sparked your interest? Or what are three reasons you would like/try ZimaOS?

Regarding your feature suggestions, I will actively collect them and provide feedback to the team. And good news, the NFS GUI integration is already in the planning stages.

Looking forward to your reply.

I am a long time user of ZimaBoard (got 3 of them) running Casaos orDietPI. So i am aware of ZimaOS at the time it launch.

Actually, i am in the process of downsizing my home lab i already drop the virtualization layer (proxmox) an adopt containers. Also i am thinking about getting rid of the Synoplogy NAS and merge file sharing and container hosting on ZimaOS.

I run one ZImaOS server as a proof of concept and so far so good everything runs perfectly. But i did one mistake, i put the operating system (ZimaOS) on a USB drive. I think about installing a second ZimaOS device with OS drive as a SATA SSD, and migrate my content to this new device.

One feature i always liked to have is a way of getting a more robust solution. It can be a faileover cluster or active/active cluster of ZimaOS devices. I also have a lot of containers to migrate and the process of moving them is manual:

1 - Install the container on the new ZImaOS server (app store or compose file)
2- On the source zimaos server: ssh in, do a backup (tar) of the container directory
3- Restore the backup in the same directory on the new ZiamOS server

I did this a lot of times and it would by really nice if it can be integrated in the ZimaOS Gui.
