In Windows 11 24.H2, I note that zima.exe is in the Task Manager list of startup programs and as such, I could find no way to get it to start minimized. I tried diabling that entry and adding a shortcut to the Windows startup folder and set that to run minimized. That didn’t work either.
What I would like to see is a setting in the UI to have the app run minimized to the tray on startup. I do not want a program running on my taskbar when I first start Windows only to have to right-click and close its window every time I log in. That’s just annoying and it serves no purpose as I am rarely interacting with zima.exe. Start to the system tray as an option would be preferred, at least for me. Barring that, I think I would prefer not having it auto-start at all and I would then only run it when needed.
Thanks for considering this basic request.
