Downtify Not Functioning Properly

I installed Downtify from the app store and after fiddling around with every setting available in the app hamburger menu, the search function is still not operational. I have tried both youtube and youtube-music in the audio source selection, different metadata sources, and nothing seems to be working. Every time I search there is simply a nonstop progress wheel.

DownTify isn’t a keyword search tool and doesn’t download from YouTube, even though those options appear in the UI. It only works with direct Spotify links (track, album, or playlist).

If you paste an artist page, type keywords, or select YouTube/YouTube Music, the app will just keep spinning with no error.

Try opening a Spotify track or album, copy that URL, paste it into DownTify, and click the green button. That’s the only supported workflow at the moment.

I have tried this workflow as well, and currently it is not functioning. I copied and pasted The Return of the King soundtrack with the same behavior as before (attached)

I’m seeing the same behaviour.

Even with valid Spotify track/album links, Downtify currently does not create any download jobs. The link is accepted, but the queue stays empty and no error is shown.

This doesn’t appear to be a user or ZimaOS issue. It looks like an upstream Downtify/spotDL problem (likely API rate-limiting with the App Store image), and there’s no reliable workaround from the UI at the moment.
