Disadvantages reusing a drive without reformatting

In my machine I use 2 physical drives: /dev/nvme0n1 for ZimaOS and /dev/sda for the main data like video files etc.

During the first tests of ZimaOS, I erased the 2nd drive /dev/sda and set the name to ‘Daten’. So it was mounted automatically as /media/Daten.

After a couple of days I erased the ZimaOS drive completely and set it up again from scratch.

Now there are disadvantages when reusing the 2nd drive without erasing:

  1. There is no way to set a name:
ZimaOS does mount this drive automatically under /media/sda. There is no way to chose a name or mount point. I can not use it under /media/Daten anymore unless erasing it again.

  2. Old trash is still around:
Checking via CLI, I can still see there is a .trash folder on /media/sda taking up a significant amount of space. I understand that I wiped the old trash database and this folder is a leftover. But in that situation inexperienced users may lose a lot of space on their drives.

Tested with ZimaOS 1.4.0
