I want to start by saying that I haven’t bought a ZimaBoard 2 computer yet, but I am considering purchasing one.
I’m curious whether the new ZimaBoard 2 (Intel N150 / Twin Lake platform) could potentially support coreboot firmware.
I couldn’t find any reference to ZimaBoard 2 in the official coreboot documentation or community ports list, so I’m wondering:
- Has anyone tried flashing or porting coreboot on this device yet?
- Is the SPI flash accessible for external flashing (SOIC clip, etc.)?
- Are there any plans from the Zima team to release low-level documentation or open firmware support?
I’m mainly interested in open-source firmware for better transparency and control, so any technical details or dev hints would be greatly appreciated.
